WELCOME TO 2019: A UNIQUE SEASON OF STUDENT THEATRE.
Well unique was right. Who knew what 2020 had in store for us. As it has become painfully clear the COVID-19 pandemic has swept the nation and our theaters and schools have been swept up with the tide. It is because of this the future production of Romeo and Juliet is cancelled and we will not be debuting our outdoor park stage. As the world evolves through this crisis we hope to bring you live theatre when it is deemed safe to proceed. I feel we will need it more then ever. Thanks for checking our page and please stay safe and wash your hands. – Cheers
In 2019 we continue Warren High School’s legacy of presenting student theatre to the community. From the delightful comedic mind of Neil Simon and his tale of newely wed strife Barefoot in the Park through the challenging world of commedia ‘del arte in a unique telling of Charles Dicken’s classic tale A Christmas Carol. Later in March we will kick up our heels and dance the night away in the musical Footloose and finally to wrap up our season we find ourselves in the park. That’s right, we are shedding the cooling chill of the inside air conditioning for a production of William Shakespeare’s beloved tragedy Romeo and Juliet. This will mark the first time we have presented a show in an outdoor park setting.
