2017-2018 Emerson Theatre Players

Josh Barba is a senior year actor who has been in numerous productions in LAUSD schools. This is his third performance in Warren High. Joshua has lead roles in Dracula, Our Town, Sweet Charity and starred as Dr. Montague in The Haunting of Hill House, as well as Felix Geisel in The Game’s Afoot here in Warren. Joshua is passionate and driven about the theatrical arts and is always ready to be in the spotlight. He wants to thank his family, friends, fellow cast members and Mr. Deichman. Anthony Garcia  Crimes Of The Heart will be Anthony’s first show as a stage manager here at the Emerson Theatre. He has performed in  four shows here at the Emerson Theatre and he first appeared as Ben in George A. Romero’s classic “Night of the Living Dead” and is excited to have a shot at helping make Crimes Of The Heart something spectacular. He would like to thank his wonderful family for always being on him to pursue his dreams, his amazing friends for always irritating him just the right way, and of course the cast and crew behind this great show. And a special thank you to Mr. Deichman for taking a chance with him and seeing where it would go. Thank you and please, enjoy the show!

Sara Guillen is currently a junior here at Warren. This is Sara’s sixth show at Warren, you may have also seen her in Things My Mother Taught Me, Dividing The Estate, Middletown, The Haunting of Hill House,or The Game’s Afoot. Sara has also helped behind the scenes in shows like Speckled Birds, and Silent Sky. Sara would like to thank her wonderful parents, sister, friends and her wonderful cast for making this possible supporting her, and putting up with her. She would also like to thank Mr. Deichman for allowing her to be a part of this program. Thank you for coming and enjoy the show!

Kimberly Mitchell is a senior here at Warren this year. This will be her third show with the drama department. She has appeared in Things My Mother Taught Me and The Game’s Afoot, both having some amazing casts that have become some of her closest friends. Kimberly would like to thank her family for dealing with her grueling schedule and always being there to support her. She'd also like to thank her friends for giving her the confidence to act at Warren High. Lastly, she would like to thank Mr. Deichman for teaching her everything she knows about being on stage and behind the scenes. Hope you enjoy the show!

Riley Rico is currently a junior at Warren High School. This will be her Third performance at the Emerson Theater. You may have seen her in other productions such as The Haunting of Hill House or The Game’s Afoot. She has also helped in the production of Silent Sky by pushing crates with Susana and in Night of the Living Dead. She would like to thank you for coming to watch the show and supporting the drama department. We hope you enjoy the show!

Susana Echavarria is currently a senior at Warren High School. This is her fourth show at the Emerson Theatre. You may have seen her as crew throwing confetti and dancing on stage in Dead Man’s Cell Phone, pushing crates during Silent Sky with Riley or possessed as Eleanor in The Haunting of Hill House. She is very grateful for the chance to be a part of this production.She wants to thank her parents and friends for their support and Mr. Deichman for all the effort he puts into the shows. She looks forward to spending her last year of high school here at the Emerson Theatre. Thank you all so much for coming and enjoy the show!

Jared Padilla is a senior here at Warren High School. This is his second show at the Emerson Theatre. His first being The Game’s Afoot. He enjoys singing in the shower, sleeping, and watching movies with his brother. He would like to thank you for coming to the show, and hopes that you have an awesome time.

Corey Davidson Crimes of the Heart will be Corey’s second show as being stage manager and have also been concessions for three years for the shows Night of the Living Dead, Things My Mother Taught Me, Dividing The Estate, Silent Sky, Middletown, Haunting of Hill House  and house manager for the Emerson Theatre. You may have seen him in the show the Games Afoot. Corey has enjoyed being part of this great experience and would like to thank Mr. Deichman for giving him the opportunity of being apart of a wonderful thing. He would also like to thank you for taking your time to come out here and see our wonderful show, thank you and enjoy the show.

Giovanni Flores is currently a senior at warren high school.  “Crimes of The Heart ” Will be his second performance at the Emerson theater. He enjoys the art of acting and is hoping to continue after high school. He's been in the play (The Game's Afoot), and is very glad to be in another. He enjoys watching comedies, they have inspired him to join the Warren High School drama department. He also wants to thank everyone for coming to support the Emerson theater. Have fun at the show!

Dalilah Hudson has been in the entertainment industry for over 10 years and is a returning actress to the theatrical world. Portraying Aggie Wheeler in “The Game’s Afoot: Sherlock for the holidays” back in December. “Crimes of the Heart” by Beth Henley will be her first play as production manager.  She looks forward to having the privilege to get a full behind the scenes look at this incredible production. Being able to work with such talented actors alongside the great Kyle Deichman will be a memorable experience.

Cassandra Ayala is currently a junior at warren high school. This is Cassandra’s third show here at Warren. You might have seen her in Haunting of Hill House as Mrs. Dudley and in Game's Afoot as the Inspector. She is so excited to be in the play and she hopes you’ll enjoy it. She would like to thank her boyfriend Delan, her friend Trevor, Carlos, Brenda, and her Mom and Dad, and her teachers. She would like to you for watching the show and for supporting drama. Krysten Duenzen is currently a sophomore at Warren High School. This is her second show in Emerson Theater, and you may have seen her in her first show Haunting Of Hill house, and was House Manager for The Game's Afoot. Krysten has been in the drama department for two years, and enjoys working with her drama peeps. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her as an actress, and would like to give a big shout out to her director Mr. Deichman for going through thick n’ thin for pulling these shows together and make these characters come to life. Nabetse Cardenas is currently a senior at Warren High School, “Crimes of The Heart” will be her fifth performance at the Emerson Theatre, you may have seen her in “A Devised Piece”,  “Middletown”,  Dividing the Estate as Mildred the maid or “The Game's Afoot” as the Inspector.  Nabetse has been in the drama department all her high school career, and has formed a bond with the most of the people in that class. Nabetse enjoys going to school and working, on her free time she likes hanging out with her friends and watching movies. She hopes this year is as good as the last.

Lilyann Bastidas is currently a junior at Warren High School this will be her second performance at the Emerson Theatre. She would like to thank her sister Madelynn for introducing and inspiring her to become an actress. She would also like to thank her mother and father for always supporting her no matter what.
