In The Heights

In the Heights dances into the Emerson Theatre April 25th. In the Heights is a musical with concept, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and a book by Quiara Alegría Hudes. The story is set over the course of three days, involving characters in the largely Dominican American neighborhood of Washington Heights in Upper Manhattan, New York City. Before Hamilton Lin-Manuel Miranda composed this musical based on inspiration from Jonathan Larson’s rent. Come spend the night with Usnavi and the cast of this beloved musical.

We’re Back!

Join us as we welcome back an audience into our theatre for the first time in two years. We are pleased to present the gritty drama 12 Angry Jurors a revised multi gendered take on the 1950’s classic 12 Angry Men.

Following the closing arguments in a murder trial, the 12 members of the jury must deliberate, with a guilty verdict meaning death for the accused, an inner-city teen. As the dozen men try to reach a unanimous decision while sequestered in a room, one juror casts considerable doubt on elements of the case. Personal issues soon rise to the surface, and conflict threatens to derail the delicate process that will decide one boy’s fate.
